Four villages declared red zones to prevent Covid-19 spread in Bandipora | KNO

Bandipora, Mar 30(KNO): Four villages in north Kashmir's Bandipora district were on Monday declared as red zones and their surrounding villages as buffer zones to prevent the spread of coronavirus. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer(KNO), deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shabaz Mirza said the villages include Parray-Mohalla, Chandergeer, Batagund, and Suderkoot-Bala, areas of Hajin Bandipora, till now, in a bid to prevent spread of deadly coronavirus, as a precautionary measures. An official told KNO that, there would be no vehicular movement on the Hajin-Bandipora-Suderkoot road and admin warned of stern action against anyone who try to violate the curfew. Seven persons hailing from Hajin area have tested positive for coronavirus in since past five days.
